AFAIK the 030 do not have internal FPU in any versions...
The EC (economic) do not have internal MMU.

EDIT: I have a Derringer board with a M68030. It do not have internal FPU. But i have an fpu in the fpu socket.
However, the MMU works just fine.... probably... it's at least present...

My guess is he is convinced the M68030 has internal FPU and since he cannot see the fpu on his board he assumes his CPU is a EC 030...

But he needs a 040 or 060 to get FPU internal in the cpu...

Again AFAIK the 030s do not have integrated FPUs in any versions.
However they do have MMUs except for the EC versions which do not have MMU.

For any Amiga related accelerator you have with a 030 you will always need to add a external 68881/68882 FPU if you want/need one.

No problem. It is very easy going wild in the forest of computer terms... :-)

If you want to know more, here is a link to freescale. the manufacturers of the 68k series CPUs.
Mybe you find some interesting information...
