I am willing to give away some free amiga stuff to people in Texas.
Are you willing to go to Longview, Gilmer or Mt.Pleasant?

If you don't get any offers, I live in Lake Charles LA and I'd make a trip to Longview rather than see the stuff end up in a skip.

Hopefully they'll find a good home.

@Darrin
I will hold it for you if you want.
Maybe you can help Amiman99.

Unfortunately Amiman99 and I are at opposite ends of the I10, although if I end up getting the stuff and he's ever up my way then I'll certainly hand some of it over.  I occasionally end up in Houston which is around half-way.

From where I live to Longview is around 236 miles which should take me around 4 hours.

I could give it a go in a couple of weeks on a day when my wife is at work (I'm away on business at the moment).  How much stuff is there volume-wise?  I drive a Ford Mustang, but I could borrow her GMC Terrain if necessary.

I quite fancy the A500, 1084 and the external floppies.  Is that SEVEN Atari 7800 systems?  If Amiman99 wants one of them I'm sure I can mail one to him.

My brother just quit his job this week down by the Mexico border.  He used to drive through San Atonio every month.  :(

I'm interested in A3000 case with FDD or part of it, my front part of the case is broken and need a replacement, maybe LED board if it's present and power switch. I have A3000 which I'm restoring. Maybe the Imagine 2.0 KB overlay, and OS3.5 CD (if no one wants it :sealed:).
I will go to the Texas Renaissance Festival on Thanksgiving weekend which is close to Houston, but shipping would be fine also.
I could take one 2600 too.

Let me know.

No problem there.  I have a fully functional A3000 so I have no need of a case.  If it all works out I'll certainly try and get it to you.  An empty cases shouldn't be too back to ground ship if the worst comes to the worst.  I also have my own OS3.5 and no use for the Imagine overlay.

I do not know if the Atari 2600's work. I tried to get the 'Darth Vader one work but got a screen that seemed to blank on power.
Some of the carts are still in the plastic. Maybe 20 carts.
I am trying to add more if possible.
Joysticks, are 7800, about 10 to 20. Sorry, I will tally them up again soon.

Shouldn't be too difficult to "bodge" a PSU to test them.  I have a couple of plastic bins full of assorted AC and DC power supplies.  :)

Made it home last night.  I've got appointments on Tues and Wednesday with teh contractor building my new house.  I'll let you know what days I have free and see if we can meet up.

Good news on the A3000 case side, my brother's new job fell through so he's back working down at the Mexico border.  This means he's travelling through San Antonio again.

Um, I may be able to help here..... I live off Memorial and Eldridge, near I-10, in Houston. I'm happy to be the "half-way" mark, if need be.

Thanks.  I'll keep that in mind if my brother quits his job again.  :)

I wish I could go to ren fest.

Me too.  It's been a while since I went.

Now the plan is to send my brother to collect the stuff as he is visiting Shrieveport later this week (or early next week).  My planned trip last week was scuppered due to the Thanksgiving holidays and friends visiting, and now I'm back at work for the next 28 days.

I am in Baytown off of I-10.  If u swing by I could use a pair of paddles and a handicap-friendly joystick.  And if u know how to remove batteries u could remove my batteries out of all my miggies for me b4 they all get destroyed.  If they are not already.

The way I removed my batteries wasn't pretty (wiggled them until they snapped).

Best to clip them off carefully so you can solder a replacement battery onto the metal.  Strangely enough, my A2000 still has the original battery while my A3000 and A4000 leaked years ago.
