Kawazu, I will be receiving the jumpers I ordered from amigakit next week. I only have one more question: Should I leave the case of the Amiga open exposing the Deneb board, while I connect and turn on the system, so that I can download the software and applications? Then remove the jumper when finished and close the case?
If you have an old hard drive or an old CD/DVD ROM drive lying around then you might have a jumper on the back of them you can use (They're the same jumpers you use on IDE drives to make them master or slave, or use on some SCSI drives to set the ID number).
From experience, leave the case off until you have your Deneb software installed and the jumper removed.
One word of warning, make sure you have the latest copy of INSTALLER handy. When I tried to install the Deneb software onto OS3.1 it failed and I had to upgrade to the latest version of INSTALLER (downloadable from Aminet). I think OS3.9 works OK.
Once you have your USB stack working and it recognises a USB memory stick then go to the Deneb website, follow the links and download the latest software using a PC to the memory stick and then update the software on your Amiga.
Once you have your Deneb card working you'll never be able to use an Amiga without it.
