When I saw title of this thread first time, I thought that somebody has made VIC FPGA implementation etc.

There is a rumour that they have.  Hopefully we'll see it confirmed soon.

This had better be a joke. $2,000-20,000 is...****, there are 12-core rack-mount servers for $3,000. What does it do, perform sexual service on users while they're logged in?

Just remember that this "news" comes from Spammy, the same person who publishes pictures of a factory in Germany and thinks it is in China and who's personal attempts to sell computers have always resulted in catastrophic failure.
