Some clarification courtesy of HOL. I had no idea a US Amiga release even existed. The copy I have, bought from a US dealer (probably Softhut or Safe Harbor ages ago), is the European release.
One of my all time favourite games. I bought the AGA version when it first came out. I also bought the PC compilation containing Win95 versions of this and the sequels Terror from the Deep and whatever the crappy third one was.
The PC version has better graphics in that it shades out areas beyond your range of vision, but worse sound. Terror From the Deep would have been a great sequel if it wasn't so bloody hard (The lobster men are too hard to kill and the lizard-like telepaths take over your men too easily and use them to slaughter your squad with ease). Forget the third game - total pants.
