Hi,

I'm in the process of downloading some of your packs and I really appreciate the work you've put into this project.

WHDLoad has always put me off due to the different requirements of the games and having someone like you bundle stuff up and make is easy is REALLY appreciated.

This is the first I've heard about KGLoad and it sounds like another winner.  :-)

So many of my floppies have errors on them that playing ADFs off my Minimig is the least painful way to do any Amiga gaming these days.  Hopefully these packs will allow me to install them on my A4000/40 instead of cursing the read/write errors.

For those interested in KGLoad (The Menu), I've made some really good progress over the last day so should have a beta soon.

Can you give us some more information on this?

Is it a front end where you just scroll through and select the game you want and it then launches/configures it?

Assuming someone has a basic OS3.x setup, how does the whole thing install?  I'm guessing that the 0-Z archives need to be unpacked to a specific draw on the hard drive.  Is there a single location for placing the various ROM images?  How about WHDLoad itself, is that just a normal install of the basic package?

Cheers.

Damn!  That's ahell of a lot of work you've done there.   :-o

It sounds fantastic.

Yaqube has got WHDload running on the ARM equipped Minimig using the 28MHz 68000 and a hard file on the SD Card.  As well as installing this on my A4000 when it is available, I'll also test it on the C-One and my ARM Minimig v1.1.
