the adf files they have on their site are all cracked versions. They will happily accept adf files of original games (I have supplied them with Wings, It Came from the Desert and Rocket Ranger). The reason they have poor archives is that the original Cinemaware went bust many years ago, a few years ago some of the original people from Cinemaware revived the company and they have started from scratch regarding archives.
I did tell them about e-bay, but since they're also happy with getting adf images I figured that the Amiga community wouldn't mind helping along.... hope I am not proven wrong!!!

I figured the original games were lost for such reasons.

Don't get me wrong, I'd help them if I could, but I'm away on business for a few weeks and I'm sure that they'll have located some ADFs by then.  If not, I should have a few original disks somewhere including Defender of the Crown (and I bought their updated version for the PC a couple of months ago - and it's crap), SDI, Sinbad & the Throne of the Falcon, Rocket Ranger, ICFTD & Ant Heads.  The question is, will the disks still work...

I am not so sure it is just the amiga inc stuff... Considering it said in that thread that he could not reveal any info on the project yet, and the fact that it was posted after the games were released on Amiga.com.

It would be ironic if Cinemaware were planning to produce and release a run of pre-configured Minimigs already loaded with their classic software, but now shelve the idea because we won't send them images of our 20 year old floppy disks.   ;-)
