I installed MacOS 9 PPC with Ifusion on my A4000! It is very buggy and unstable!
resolution is limited to 8bit
you can only use scsi.device! No other controllers are supported
Parititons can only be 1GB
Network is not working
but! It works.... 
have you tried ifusion on winuae?
do you know if works there?
