Just watched "The deathbed Vigil"...

(the documentary by David Haynie depicting the last days of commodore. This from the employees point of view)

I was just wondering, if anyone has anything to add? Something  the film missed about the situation, or just your opinion.

My opinion is that the leadership had poor contact with the personel, that they kept a lot of cash in their pockets and had no real clue as to what Amiga was all about or its potential. (Remember folkes, I stashed my A500, which is my only amiga in the closet, 10-11 years ago).

Also I believe that the guys depicted in engineering seem to be the kind of guys that with blood sweat and tears built the foundation of what we have today. Sort of like how John Carmack built Quake (sleeping in the office, really giving it every bit of his life). The marketing department seems to have missed the point and not advertised what engineering was the most proud of.

At least that's the image I got.

@bloodline

Yeah that was hilarious, imagine the ammount of work they put into that practical joke.

The speedbump story was great as well.
