AFAIK, PrepCard is intended to prepare MEMORY cards. In the CNET package there is a device query utility (I don't remember its name) that correctly detects my Ovislink Ethernet PCMCIA card, I don´t know if 3Com drivers have such an utility. Simply don't trust PrepCard, and try alternative comm PCMCIA query utilities.
