I believe the hd is already formatted, but I do have original workbench disks.
If the hd contains OS software I do not have, i will simply buy whatever software
I need and make sure keep all legit.
All the software I need to use (dpaint, moviesetter, etc.) I have all original disks to
install. If the hd has something else I do not have, I do not need as I have my
important software on disks. All I need is for the HD to be formatted and I can
provide the workbench disks. Anything else I do not need.
I want to wait until Christmas to get the hd/ram because I am not sure I really need it yet.
I want to spend this year learning and using moviesetter, and then at the end of the
year if I need it, then buy the combo hd/ram.
My plan is to take moviesetter to the max and make small animations until the end
of the year. If I then am satisfied, I would expand the ram to make longer animations
and use the hd to store.
The plan is in the future to make a full length animated movie, using moviesetter.
If in one year is feasible for me to make it, then I can expand my amiga.
Is possible I might need a lot more of ram, much more than 8 mb.
