need help-new video toaster user/amiga
« on: August 09, 2008, 10:22:27 PM »
Dear Amigans:

I am planning on buying an amiga 4000 with video toaster.
I never had a video toaster before. I've had a fast pentium computer with lightwave 3d for a few years now, so I can make nice 3d animations but have almost no experience with video editing. I can make nice anim files with lightwave, but never put them together. NOw, I would like to get an amiga/videotoaster. I could then render my 3d animations in my pc (VERY FAST) then transfer to my amiga and use the video toaster to edit and playback the animations. I could then save the animation clips to something like vhs to make a whole movie project.
Is this possible? any tips? do I need the 'flyer' or would the videotoaster be good enough?
please help me,
