There was rumours of work-in-progress version or even about leaked version at 4.0 times, but I've never witnessed it. I would love to, because I still have my Peg1 and don't have any other OS4 machine
But the certain thing is that there isn't an official release.
General opinion in OS4 camp was also against "evil" hardware like Pegasos and that probably prevented the official release, but the funny thing is that we finally got a Peg2 version. Would be fun to see Peg1 version after all, but I guess it's very unlikely
