Restarted and this time the MorphOS option was available (although the Mac takes forever to release the mouse cursor back so you can select anything!!).
You could boot into open firmware and type "setenv skip-netboot? true". At least on Mac mini it makes boot menu quick as it doesn't try to find any net boot devices.
