Women and computing

I know several women here in Finland who are Amiga users. Some even active today... at least in forums and meetings But some actually own and use Amigas today too. I could mention my girlfriend, who has used Amigas almost all of her life. And for a curiosity Finnish Amiga Users Group's long term chair(wo?)man is woman.

Edit: btw. I don't (or didn't) know any Mac owning women

Edit2: BBS and demoscene had its share of Amiga women too

The question was "have ever known", so it includes the time when Amiga wasn't retro There was such a time you know

Not sure about that "practical" part either in all cases

And young kids (girls too) seem to enjoy old Amiga games still
