They work fine with each other. Maybe there's some single option/feature which doesn't work with other.. try to find it
I don't have any problems running MCP, Birdie, Visualprefs, Magellan2, OS3.9 together... only thing was that one option had to be disabled from MCP when I upgraded to OS3.9, but of course I can't remember which it was
