Hmm... it's been too many years to remember correctly, but I had MicroniK 6860 rev 4.02 busboard and it had to be fixed for some Blizzard accelerator.. b1230-IV or b1260.. might have been b1260 though
At least it didn't work when I just inserted the busboard to otherwise working system. I sent it to local dealer and they fixed it there, don't know better what they did, but after that it worked fine
Anyway I have used the busboard fine with powersupply through a1200 mobo's connector (with pc psu). Never had power to the busboard's connector... and I had around 4 zorro cards simultaneously and lots of other stuff too.
