That would be great! Or even more great if the second computer which takes care of the internet could be also Amiga as well as PC :)

Also would be nice to have some general solution for directing serial.device access over the internet... which would work with games. Of course only newer games which won't disable the multitasking. Only attempt I've seen for it has been for Napalm, but it won't work with other games...

But have to check that tcpserj... didn't know that kind of system exists :)

BTW. Super Skidmarks is just too cool with serial linkup.. you can split the display over two Amigas... then when you connect both to video projectors.. display them both next to each others on big wall... and enjoy 8 player game on it with whole track visible all the time (no scrolling needed) :) We tried that in last meeting :) But of course this won't be practical for this subject ;)

amigadave:

we had 6 real players + 2 cpu players this time, but we're going to get full 8 players next time ;)

Setting up is basically very easy, but you just have to figure how game menus want to work :) Make link active first, then select which computer displays which side and then modify players etc... players get resetted if you try to modify them first...

Stunt Car Racer also worked nicely with many players tournament. You all race against each others with two linked Amigas and the game counts the points according the wins and fastest laps etc.

And here are the results of some compos :) http://jpv.wmhost.com/SakuWinterGames2007/SakuWG2007-res.txt

And Stunt Car Racer is even more fun with Turbo version (for better cpus), which has better framerate than original ;) It also works fine on serial linkup.
