OK, a few things to call attention to before you start reading this, to save people time :-)

1. Buyer must collect, and have a car or something :-) I live in Radcliffe, Greater Manchester, UK. Sorry, but I am not going to post this thing. Far too much effort to pack it.

2. The system as a whole is somewhat unstable. More detail on this later in the post, but if you are a general user looking for a complete system, this probably isn't for you. It's more aimed at someone who will take it apart.

3. It's CHEAP! All this stuff goes for just £200 for the lot.

Now the actual list of hardware and software:

Hardware:
A1200 motherboard, revision 1.D.4 if I recall correctly. All timing fixes applied. Socketed with 3.1 ROMs.
Power Computing "Power Tower"
BlizzardPPC Accelerator. 060/50 with 240 MHz PPC and SCSI.
128 Mb EDO RAM
BlizzardVisionPPC Graphics Card

PowerFlyer Fast EIDE Interface
SilverSurfer fast serial port, clockport fitted.
PCMCIA 10 Mb network card (with right angle adapter). I forget the brand, it works with ResetFix from Aminet though.
2 Gb hard drive with Workbench on
32x IDE CDROM, slot loading type
Original floppy drive
External HD floppy drive
16x6x4 SCSI Yamaha CDRW
UMAX SCSI Scanner, the 6000SP if I recall correctly.
Iomega Zip 100, SCSI, about 3-4 Zip disks
All necessary SCSI leads
PC Mouse Adapter
PC Keyboard Adapter (built into tower). Can throw in a cheap PC keyboard if required.
Original A1200 case, now empty
Misc. Various leads, couple of CD32 pads, hard drive caddies, RGB to SCART, audio mixing, stuff like that.

Software:
Original A1200 Magic Pack, still with full box etc.. and all software/manuals

CD Applications
PFS 2 and PFS 3
OS 3.9
CyberGraphX 4
Personal Paint 7
Wordworth 7

CD Games
Foundation
Vulcanology compilation
T-Zer0
Bubble Heroes
Quake (PPC)
Payback
Napalm (PPC)
Myst
Nightlong (PPC)

Boxed applications
OS 3.5
ImageFX 4 and Powerstation PPC modules (box somewhat damaged)
Deluxe Paint 5
Network PC

Boxed games
Worms
Worms DC
Cannon Fodder
Sim City 2000
Colonization
Award Winners Platinum (Lemmings, Frontier, Civilization)
Fifa International
Civilization (ECS and AGA CD compilation)
XTreme Racing
Theme Park AGA
The Secret of Monkey Island
Settlers
Dune II
Ultimate Super Skidmarks

Everything in good condition unless otherwise noted. The front of the tower is a little yellowed with age.

There may be other bits of hardware or software I have forgotten.

Now, about the instability - when the system is first powered up, it often won't start booting, or will reset a short way into the boot sequence. It can take 10 attempts or more before it's up and running. Once running, the system is stable.

I'm not sure what is causing this instability, but I suspect the PSU in the tower - sometimes when the system is turned on the hard drives do not spin up. So whoever buys this will need to try taking out things or replacing them to determine what's wrong.

I haven't kept up with prices in the Amiga market, but I would think you could split this stuff up and re-sell it for more than I am asking, once you determine which part is unstable. I haven't the time to spend testing though.

I'd like payment in cash, simply because I don't want to risk someone giving me a cheque which then bounces. If desired I could set up the system to show it working at the time of collection.

That's about all I have to say  :-D Post here please if you are interested.

Looks like we have a buyer :)

Cyberus, as the first person (from the UK) to reply with interest. I'll post here if the deal doesn't go ahead with him for any reason.

Oh, and add something to the hardware list that I just remembered about:

Eyetech EZ-VGA Plus External Scandoubler & Flickerfixer

Hi punkpie, yeah I got your PM. Cyberus replied (and also sent a PM) first though...

Hmm. I am faced with a bit of a moral dilemma now - do I just sell to Cyberus for £200 as he replied first, or open this as a kind of auction the highest bidder?

Argh, I don't know what to do  :-?
I'm normally a very ethical person, but money is nice  :-P

At the moment I am thinking towards just selling to Cyberus for the £200, it wouldn't be very fair of me to do otherwise...

I'd appreciate people's opinion on this, especially those of Cyberus and punkpie, but anyone else feel free to chip in too :-)

Nice point bloodline.

It seems punkpie has been ripped off before sadly, and could really use the system, and is offering to pay more.

But on the other hand, I did agree to deal with Cyberus.

Curse my moral conscience, but I think I must deal with Cyberus for £200, unless it falls through for whatever reason, as you say.

Sorry punkpie - you are next in line though if anything goes wrong.

I thought that might be the case :)

Before anyone else replied, I had a message from a guy in Canada offering £200 for just the PPC and BVision, if I could ship them out there. I certainly would have accepted the offer, but only if nobody in the UK came forward - shipping abroad would be much hassle in terms of payment alone, and I wouldn't dream of trying to send the whole lot.

I wanted to sell it as a bundle simply to get rid of it all at once, thought I realise people may only actually want it for the PPC :-)

Oh, and in case you are wondering, no, I am not insane - I know £200 is very cheap for this much gear. It certainly cost over ten times that when I bought it all new, perhaps over fifteen times  But I figured the price needed to reflect the fact that the buyer will have to find the cause of the instability, and I wanted to sell it quickly too.

Sounds like a nasty piece of work :-(

Ah, what I wouldn't give to be able to dish out justice with automatic weapons to whomever I saw fit...

The same queen? You can take her mate :-)

All she does is whinge and cost us money. In fact, this whole country is going down the drain... how's Canada these days, shall I move there? :-D

@doctorq

Sorry, but they are already going to Cyberus - I've made my choice and I will be sticking by it. If the deal with him should fall through for any reason, then I might hold a bit of an auction, since many other people seem to want them. But for now they go to him.
