You have 2 real &  2 Maybe options

1. As you suggested run a Mac Emu & use
    Final Cut Pro, This is a very professional solution.

2. Run Linux based editing software

3. Run MostionStudio "IF" an A1 version is released.

4. "IF" Ami.Inc allow MorphOS on your A1.
     Then run MotionStudio Morph Version on it.

You can pickup cheap Mac systems but it's not an A1.

The OS flexibility will be the killer feature of the A1.

We just need to run Morph  on it legally.
Same applies to OS4 on the Pegosis.

For those that want too, it's about choice.
I run Win98, NT4, W2K, Linux, BeOs & Qnx.
On my PC Mobo just need a legal Amithon.

Did anyone copyright "English" as a language.

This post  may be an IP infringment.

I understood Arexx was a legal include.

But the whole GUI concept was stolen from Zerox.
Yet Apple tryed to claim infringment from M$.

Did you know the ExOr cursor
 (a cursor that swaps the text & background colur).
Is a vaid IP & a royalty has to be paid when ever implemented in a system.

This was one of the finacial problems that faced C=.

Scary that something like this is patentable.
