Stop giving him the attention.

Hes not getting any good or positive attention in this thread.

Makes me wonder if it even runs as if I had a 4000 for sale and had it setup like that I would surly power it up so it would be clear that it is working.
Avoid this seller at all coasts

One of the questions he answered just recently "I personally have seen an A4000 go for $1000 on ebay"

I have been watching ebay for years and have never seen an stock A4000 go for that much let alone $500. I bought my second mint condition A4000D with a Video toaster flyer for $150 so thats just c**p.
I can see a well loaded 4000T going for that much but not a desktop!
With him nothing is guaranteed to be what you see.

"Also, the Amiga 4000's motherboard is the lower quality surface mount technology. The Amiga 2000 and 3000 computer,s motherboards are the higher quality thru-hole technology"

He is kidding right
Neither of the two mentioned make any difference as to how they function and in no way is one better then the other.

My guess is that the one bider that had placed a bid is just him bidding for himself to make it look like he has interest. The only interest in this A4000 is negative from what I can see given all the questions he is getting and this thread as well as many many others that have been posted here.

The A4000 and 1200 were in many ways superior to past Amigas AGA for one thing. Yes I agree that not having SCSI was a small issue but SCSI add on controllers were and still are easy to get. The A4000T was by far the best Amiga but fairly limited in supply. I agree that the A3000(t) construction was very solid but who cares as unless your going to be banging it around or throwing it out a window what does that matter.
My 2 A4000d's are still running today one of them I have had since 1995.
