smart move i say. best to preempt any possible "legal issues" when it comes to anything remotely related to Amiga Inc.
So.....it's now called the AROS Replacement Operating System, because it's replacing the old AROS (which stood for Amiga Replacement Operationg System)
Aaaaand...to shorten its *NEW* totally legal name, we can STILL use the acronym (A)ROS (R)eplacement (O)perating (S)ystem - AROS. Which DOES NOT directly reference the word Amiga.
we all still know what the "A" in AROS _really_ means ;-)
lol, this is pure genius!
