Got myself a Power Mac G5?

Ok so I have managed to get myself a Power Mac G5, I only need some ram and a hard drive to get it up and running (that's if it even works) and I am wanting to know how hard/easy it is to install MorphOS?

Here is the power mac I got, I won it on eBay for 99p and I have tested it and it works I have put 2 gig of ram in it (will add more as soon as I find some from my box of tricks) hope it is compatible with morphos, so I can dual boot it

Well, a Radeon 9600 is listed on the base specs, and the card that can be seen in those pics actually seems to be one, so it should just boot the MorphOS CD straight.

Yes it was an absolute bargain and it was local so was able to pick it up

Nice!  Was the owner pissed at not getting more money for it, or were they happy just to have it out of the way?

Well after playing about with it, it now locks up and I am forced to power it off with the power button so I'm guessing that it is overheating going to strip it down tomorrow and try and sort it out

Locks up when? Not by any chance after about 30 mins of MorphOS usage? It shouldn't but I'm just thinking that if it could be demo mode slowdown related...

I haven't got around to installing MorphOS yet, I currently have tiger installed it is more of an intermittent fault some times it just freezes and the fans run at full speed?
