Voodoo 3000 on OS3.9 and OS4.0.

Hi,

I do not know how to install the Voodoo drivers on OS3.9.
I have read some 3d but refers to a manual I do not have (I bought the Elbox busboard used and I have only that) and point to links do not exist anymore!
Any exixting useful link? Some PDF to download?

I have also some problems with OS4.0! I installed and I immediately saw the Voodoo but, after a crash (!), no way to make OS4.0 see the card!!! I have read about an update for Blizzard cards... any link where to download it?

Also you should ask the seller to unregister with Elbox so that you can register. Then you get all the latest drivers sent by them automatically.

On the CD there are several directories with Voodoo drivers. Each directory contains instructions how to install the drivers. IIRC the document "Voodoo4&5.guide" is the one to read. It applies to the Voodoo3, too.

Ok,

now I am fighting with two problems:
* first, I have read about a MM floppy (not CD...) to use with the CD but I have only the CD. Is there a way to download it (now I write to Elbox if they can send it to me);
* second, I am checking my two Voodoo3000 with pciinfo and I have "unknown" in VendorName and DeviceName (all other infos are written... hex numbers).

Is this ok?

Most likely, Elbox will want you to "upgrade" to the MMCD after the previous owner notifies Elbox the Mediator has been transferred.

4. Follow the instructions in the Voodoo readme file for configuring Picasso96. Elbox didn't automate this part, and it's a bit of a pain.

Tools like pciinfo usually have a table of vendors and devices stored in a separate file (usually vendor.txt, but that's just a convention) from which to display information. It sounds like your tool's table is missing.
