The problem might be that you are trying to replace old files with newer ones, and I don't think that this is possible.
Imagine this: the cdrom driver loads the first session sees a file called bloggs.txt, then moves onto the next session and seees another file called bloggs.txt - its gets confused.
Just a suggestion.
