I should really pick up "UberPaint" (Deluxe Paint clone) again and finish it up.

I never finished the Menus and the file saving aspects.  I got stuck in this repeating loop, getting stuck between making it extremely portable (everything in one window, driven by libSDL) or having a better user experience (set up with OS-driven menus, windows, etc, but not as portable)

Every few months I pick it back up and poke at it with a pointy stick for a few days or so.

I'm sure you could find a few alpha/beta testers for the Amiga version around here!

Fair enough.

I don't have an Amiga development environment set up just yet. I know that the SDL version is compilable and runs under AROS.  It's been about 12 years since I touched a C compiler on my Amiga (A1000 + SAS C).  To be honest, I wouldn't really know where to begin these days, but I'm totally willing to do it.

Because I currently have no way of working with AROS.  I have a PC, but it's not in a usable location.  I use Macs primarily right now, and the last time I checked, the latest AROS didn't work either on PPC hardware directly, or on top of OS X.  Either of which I'd be fine with.

I'll just develop against libSDL, and let others port it to other platforms.  (I'm attempting to get the latest E-UAE running with diskfolders on my 10.3 machine, with no success right now...)

You need to sign up the the AROS dev-list... hint hint :-)

I attempted to do that a while ago, with no results at all. I will try again.

Thanks! :)
