Missing Toolbar
« on: January 18, 2007, 02:59:16 PM »
Wondering if anyone can help with this.  I have an Amiga 2000HD (with an A2091 card and Quantam 40 meg drive) and I swapped out the ROMS to Kickstart v2.05.  I then went through the install process for OS 2.0. (Including setup, formatting, etc..)  Everything seemed to go as expected with the install and the system functions nicely.  The problem is when the machine boots up, it seems the RAM Drive and the hard drive partitions are all within a standard "drawer" window and I am unable to right mouse click and get to any of the toolbar options, such as copy, initialize, etc...   There is a black bar running across the top of the Workbench displaying memory as usual, but it will not flip to "toolbar" mode with the right mouse click.

Any help would be welcome.

Thats actually a good suggestion.  But, the first thing I did was borrow a Co-Workers Amiga mouse and tried and the same thing happened.  Then I took my Mouse over to his 2000 and the right mouse clicking worked fine on his.

Well I have a "parts" A500 at home.  I might try to pop a CIA chip out of it tonight and put it in the A2000 tomorrow and see if that will fix it.  I will update the thread either way.

Thanks.
