Everybody can sell items at any price they want to, but there is something that bugs me on too high prices:
if one isn't dwelling on a pile of cash and needed an item for Amiga and finds one at EBay (or some other site) and it's way overpriced, one can't afford it thus not getting a *maybe* important item for one's setup. Now if everyone would price items ridicilously high that would only be "fair" for those having the cash to pay. Do we want that? I hope I made my point even if somewhat confusing...:)

Isn't EBay an auction site? Isn't the principal of an auction for people to get things cheaper than normal prices? Correct me if I'm wrong but that's how I always have thought it would be. I meself try to have this principal when I'm selling stuff: not ripping off, but fair price, fair deal.

Nothing wrong with people bidding the price up, but it's the high starting/buy-it-now prices that bug me.

EDIT: do we Amigans want to rip each other off with these items, or be reasonable?

I fail to see what's so funny about this :) but partly I understand you and cool you had a laugh...
What's wrong being reasonable?

Oh, so you've had your share of a "fair" deal I suppose?

Another thing that bugs me is people that hawk the reasonable deals to themselves and re-sell to try and make a buck selling for double/triple the price they themselves have paid.
But enough rant from me, these things can't really be helped...

Get on Amibay.com if you're not there already.

Also, let's keep in mind that we're dealing with discretionary items, not food & water.  Your life is not seriously affected if you can't afford that cool vintage Amiga gear!

Yes it is! I'm a bitch for legacy Amiga HW! Hmm.... ;)
