Use WOSPrefs to set WarpOS variables. Oh, and delete all Shogo files from ENVARC: and ENV: then launch the game again. It worked for me.

Did you delete all Shogo-related files from ENVARC: and ENV: as i explained? Then reboot and run Shogo launcher again. Does it work then?

I'll have a look at my current settings and variables and post them here if it helps.

Here's my MedConfig report.

Things i noticed:

* you have older Mediator files, update them! (but only use voodoo.card version 4.23)
* i have also MMU Warp 3D -mediator files installed (don't know if it makes any difference, MMU is set to NO)
* i'm using Warp.library 5.1, yours is 4.0
* your gfxaddress is set to $200000, mine is $80000000
* you have older rtg.library
* you don't have ppclibemu installed (according to startup-sequence), get it here.

Hope this helps :-).

EDIT: are you using G-Rex 68040/68060 -libraries? If so, remove and replace with ones found here. The Gears-demo runs fine here.

Btw. anyone know what really is the difference between 46.7 and 46.15 68060-libraries?

This line should be in your startup-sequence (ppclibemu-package):

C:ppclibemu_install NAME libs:ppc.library

That way the emulated ppc.library is used and should work. Also set terminator=0 and nopatch=1 as Mad-Matt explained. Download WOSPrefs for easy setting WarpOS/Warp3D prefs. MedConfig should then report "ppc.library - ver.46.41" instead of 0.9.

Please post your MedConfig again when you're done with the changes.

@Mad-Matt
Where did you read that powerpc.library 16.1beta causes problems? I thought it was the other way around that the official powerpc.library 16.1 was the one having bugs.

Btw. you can find the 16.1beta here.

@Gav
Ok, you can switch NoCache=No. You did use voodoo.card 4.26, i suggest you switch it to version 4.23 because of graphic bugs. Get warp.library 5.1 (latest). I don't get it the report still reads ppc.library 0.9, it SHOULD be 46.41 with the latest ppclibemu-package correctly installed. You could try download BlizKick and use it's BPPCFix-module instead "BPPCFix INSTALL >NIL:". Do you still get crashes?

EDIT:
put "C:ppclibemu_install NAME libs:ppc.library" AFTER LoadMonDrvs. It doesn't help much after EndCLI :-).

You should find version 4.23 on MM_CD_UP1.26.

Tell us how you get along :-).

I really don't know what went wrong on your desktop. Could you try re-installing all (WB+drivers) to an empty partition perhaps?

@Mad-Matt
How do you setup a mixed PowerUP/WarpUP -environment without ppclibemu? I'd like to know about it.

I'm really out of ideas now. You might have a defective BPPC...
