Are we talking impotent baby tablets like iPad or REAL tablet computers by the masters Fujitsu produced since the 90s?
Early P-II tablets by Fuji just added a 'mouse' driver to use Win98 IIRC. To get OS4 onto a tablet therefore needs a 1 day tweak and an on screen keyboard for use. Ditto going back as far as the AMD 5x86 based machines. I used Dpaint 2 PC under Windows 95 and it was fantastic too. Battery life was pretty awesome @ 3.5hrs a decade ago too.
Of course all the cool tablet hardware is x86 Centrino or similar based so that's not really the scope of the problem
