Of all the computers at home I'd have to say that the Amiga beats them all, at least when it comes to the noise level. With the Mediator and the SB128 I've got no noise at all. I can turn up the volume to max (without playing anything) and the noise is zero. On the various PC:s and consoles in my home, they all bring up the noise level to unbearable amounts at too high volumes.

Oh, well, not really thread realted, but anyways...
Amiga 1200, Mirage Tower, PC-Key 1200, Blizzard 1260/50, SCSI Kit, 256MB RAM, 40GB HD, Mediator SX, Soundblaster 128, Voodoo 3 and Realtek 8139.
