3: Do a blizzard 1260/50 128mb ram , fit in a desktop without any heatingproblems?

I know some people will disagree with me on this one, but I would NOT recommend having a Blizzard 1260 fitted in a desktop without keeping the lid open. Yes, the 060 is cooler than the 040, but it doesn't necessarily mean that it isn't running rather hot. I would not want to push my thumb against the processor after having used it for some hours. Actually, the entire A1200 original casing started to feel noticably warmer when I had the lid closed, especially the lid in itself, and that can't be a good sign.

I kept the lid open (when I had my A1200 in its original desktop casing) just to prevent cutting down on the lifespan of the card and the computer. I have not had any problems whatsoever with either one... and the A1200 mobo is going on its 10th year now, stable as ever...

But, like I said, some will probably disagree with me... but I prefer to play it safe...
