Well, it's taken me a long time (until January this year!) but I finally have a system I'm really pleased with:

2gb boot drive, 40gb data drive

Mediator 1200Sx (6 slots)
Vooddo 3 3000 graphics

Fast ethernet
Hypercomm1 fast serial
still to get going:
Soundblaster 128 card & Hauppage TV card. Haven't figured out howe to get the sound card to work yet but will work on that soon.
It's amazing the difference the graphics card makes; I used to use Multiscan:Productivity mode & when using IBrowse, it used to take around 30 seconds to swap a tab, not it's less than a second
I still have a desktop A1200 with 2gb drive, Subway USB & Apollo 1240 wit, I think, 64mb ram. I also have an Eyetech Tower which I will be fitting a mobo plus other bits in. I ,may eventually sell that because I don't have any more room!
