Howdy there, another returning Amiga user here who just bought Amiga again after spending few years on 'the dark side'. The computer I got is A1200 KS3.1 with Mediator PCI 1200 (4 pci-slots, voodoo3, soundblaster and network adapter installed), Blizzard 1240 with 32mb fast. These all are stuffed in the plastic Infinitiv tower.

The problem I'm having is pretty annoying, I've got ps2-keyboard connected to builtin ps2-adapter in Infinitiv tower and the keyboard seems to be 'lagging' pretty much. If i keep typing about 1 character per second everything is fine, but when I try to type faster, keyboard starts missing key presses. So the question is, is there any known problems with A1200 and Infinitiv ps2-adapter, and are they even fixable?

Also, there was Ateo Concepts keyboard adapter soldered on the motherboard when I got this thing, and (stupidly, I know :)) I just ripped it off right away as I though I wouldn't need it because the tower had it's own adapter. Could this cause the lagging, and if so, are there any instructions available how I could solder it back to mb?

Thanks for the reply, I was afraid of that. I guess I'll try to find instructions somewhere how to solder this Ateo Concepts adapter back to mb as I found keyboard that should work with that. I'll be back with stupid questions when I get keyboard working and get to fight with installing Workbench + apps :) Cheers

Thanks again, found the place on mb where the adapter was installed. I managed to remove the 'cap' from the chip it was connected. Looks pretty easy soldering as wires are labelled and I can clearly see in which pins the wires were attached before.
