This is very exciting news, but I am also concerned that it will be a lot of money easily wasted. Whether I buy this or not will determine on OS4, future upgrades, software, hardware, and video editing. A machine like this may become a home for the Video Toaster again, but is yet to be seen.
The price is very hard, though. I understand why it cost that much, but I built a similiar system for only $500 and that included a very nice, full tower case. It's got onboard graphics and sound, AMD dual core, and plenty of room to expand and upgrade for the next several years. With WinUAE and the PC Toaster, I'll have a system that works for me.
Like others, I'm taking a "wait and see" approach. If this isn't vaporware and it's a revolutionary product, then I'll invest in a NexGen Amiga.
