Ever since Apple has moved to Intel chips, there really is no reason to purchase a Mac, build a
Hackintosh but this is not for everyone as updates and changes to hardware require a bit more intervention with the unix kernel than most people would want, but hey for enthusiasts like me this is the most powerfull mac I have owned for the price, and Apple does not even sell something close to this bang for the buck.
