I did.  Jesus in in the same category as the Yeti, The Bogyman and grey space aliens who travel 100 light years to slash our cows with carving knives for kicks.

Jesus very likely existed. It's whether or not he's actually the Son of God that is up for debate.

To which I responded that you need to check your history. That wasn't an assertion that he did exist. It was an assertion that if you understood history, you couldn't blanketly state he didn't exist.

JK Rowlings and Gaius Publius Tacitus are two very different persons with two very different agendas and has nothing to do with the point I was trying to impress upon you.

As the person who original broached this topic, I only intended to make a quick point rather than let it fall into debate. If you wanna open a discussion on it, I'll gladly join any and all there to discuss the issues.
