For those who have broken old laptops w/bad lcd screens and need an amiga kb/mouse/joystick, you could remove the LCD screen and run a DOS-based version of the keyboard/mouse/joystick simulator through an autoexec.bat batch file. You may not even need a hard drive since the program is less than 16 kilobytes and can be booted from a floppy drive. That would give you a working keyboard/mouse/joystick almost the same size/weight as an Amiga 4000 keyboard.
I suppose the only problem would be if your laptop takes like a minute to boot up; your amiga may beat it out during boot-up and then you may get one bad keystroke as the software resynchronizes with the amiga keyboard port.
