going for a SCSI interface for your PC is the easy/cheap solution. One thing to watch out for is 32 versus 64 bit OS.... older and dirt cheap SCSI cards often have no 64 bit driver. Use a 32 bit Linux VM if needed. Amiga FFS drivers are available for Linux
