I had an identical experience... I had a "Hard Disk Card+2" and got the 2060. No boot... took out the old GVP and all was well. Nothing wrong with either card, but they did not work together. Of course the 2060 is blistering fast anyhow :D
With it, there is little point of keeping the old gvp; just sell it :)

I agree Zac - I had an Octagon + GVP working together fine. I suspect the GVP rom indeed; but I had upgraded my card to the very last/newest version (dont ask.. forgot which) and no go.

But .. bleeep... the 2060 is fast :D
