zadoc:thanx for info..

i dont like the idea of this , remeber this is how everything started in the first place (elbox put hidden code in spider software (for anti crack/hacking reasons)

anyway the elbox RDB code (which i have never seen , or it has never thrashed anyones rdb (on an legal way anyway) was removed after all the fights and chris hodges closed his poseidon registration , but now later he re opened it (the registration for elbox spider) due to there was alot of amiga users who got very upset that they had to buy an spider card and not get more than a demo of the STACK.

i would like to say here that chris H. has always been nice to me and helped alot and i know he got very upset at elbox and everything around the spider but i somewhat cant justify the "several issues" that has happened since then.

also elbox wanted to protect their drivers/hardware by blocking out "OTHER" usb cards etc by locking their software so it wouldnt work if they had an E3b usb card in their setup along with an mediator from them (elbox) etc, but last i checked this havent surfaced yet and i doubt it will. (without the beta /dev package which aint official (as in for ALL) .)

kronos: so u finally answered in this thread , aint you going to slaughter chris hodges now? , seeing that he have done the same thing as elbox did? , time to prove you aint just another elbox troll :)

anyway as i said earlier, i have not heard a single user say that they got their hdd trashed because of elbox (and using it for what its meant to be), but i have heard people got this problem after hacking the elbox spider code.

and now i have heard of this mui class hack thats in poseidon (i dont use usb mouse or keyboard) , so feel free to explode now kronos..

is it the time where i am to install a keyboard and say it killed my amigaOS install?

zadoc: sure i agree but this is now a bigger problem as now both have done hacks to destroy credibility from the users point of view and i think its time for the elbox trolls to wake up.

thanx for clearing it up and i hope every goddamn poseidon user will get this hid.class update , if for one want it in case i ever want to go usb keyboard/omouse etc.

but it makes me think , what more is placed in the source, can/should we expect more things like this?

kronos:hah well i havent heard of anyone who has got an hdd trashed because of this hid.class either so most likely its just another "ELBOX HATER" who posted that hd trashing rdb stuff in the first place or?

what if this hid.class accidentally formats your drive when u use format ? , maybe i have a drive called ELSUXX ? and i wanted to format my elbox: drive ..,  or what if i wrote an email to elbox in an friendly manner and everywhere i typed elbox it say ELSUXX*crap #### #### mega lame etc?

btw anyone have this hid.class issue on a pegasos? , thats infact a very VALID question, if its not then its obvious that its just another attempt to blow amigaos away....or maybe not?

kronos:btw are we users really that lame that we will blame elbox or poseidon when our system crash and burn? , well i wont but i am seriously questioning it now.

just makes me wonder how many of theese patches/hacks/jokes i use every day now...

anyway i hope everyone will get this NON hacked hid.class and get this issue over with , and for the love of god please remove all such childish jokes from a somewhat serious app/tool.
