Anco Software Is No More!

Today when i searched for some info about the upcomming AmigaDE/Os4? game Kickoff 200x i found out that Anco is no more.

I follow news closely and i haven't seen anything about this here at amiga.org , so i hope that you all will agree on the fact that this is news.

We must apologise for the lack of Anco support over the last couple of weeks but we have been through traumatic times.

On the 20th May 2003 Anco owner Anil Gupta passed away. He had been ill for a little while but the end was very sudden and took everyone by surprise.

Anco, not being one of the biggest software houses in the world and certainly not very healthy financially was forced to close, thus ending one of the longest running software houses in existence.

We would like to thank everybody who has been in contact for their kind words and condolences.

To all who know the name "ANCO" but still need's
some sort of a clue on what they did and where ,
they made/released/published "kick off" among others onto the amiga , both budget label and full blown titles.

About the Kickoff game that is supposed to come ,
supposedly to be developed by VP and not anco
so it might not affect us at all .

legerdemain: well first of all you contact hyperion ofcourse , to get the devkit or like now you get some main info on what and how and if..

ie basics of what you need to know when developing for os4.

also for more information i think you should email them or join the new developer mailing list.
