Sounds like you are talking about overclocking, yes it can do 260/280 etc but it would need alot of cooling and it would be rather slow (mem access) also there is more issues to this , check this link_: http://www.zap.to/ppcoverclock

have fun.

very good question kenny , infact the answer is no ...

but if you have the expertice to cool it down well enough then its another story , it wont help with coolingpaste on the rib and a major big fan :) , u need to be abit more into it.

i have met 68k users who has used coolingpaste , and i guess u know what that means :)

anyway if its a 040ppc card you might be in hard luck due to the known issues ... but clocking from 200->240 shouldnt make your life misserable, but the speedup aint exactly major due to there is still the 78k context..ie if you have a 040/25 ....u better clock that instead...atleast first...

forget about your060->040ppc board , on a1200 you have the volt factor, i have no knowledge of any a1200 user who have done this and i guess thats because its not a good idea at all.

for cppc boards this is another story.

i think i have a link, let me see if i can find it for later.

btw, U sHOULD COOL IT , as your fpu will die if not , and if it does then you can scrap your card.

put cooling paste on the chip (under the sheild (YES MORE!) and put a big fan on the ppc sheild/rib , then you should also cool down your 68k, as this will get very hot aswell due to the memory issues and speed, even if you are still running it on 25mzh.

but do it properly and do it like the link says, anyway i warned you and dont come screaming on here if it dies all of a sudden.

good luck
