Small tip from me here:

Format the damn system again , and get someone who have a simmilar system as you to make a RECOVERY disk with os3.9 (if u have this) , then use his recovery disk (a floppy) and then all should be OK , if it aint , then its your buster rev or the gfx card..., but it might be some ram thats gone haywire aswell ;(

IMPORTANT: to make a recovery disk with such a sys you MUST have a HD disk (1.76) drive , as the normal 880kb disks/drives AINT enough and this is a serious BUG in the recovery disk option in os3.5/3.9 (it simply wont copy all files u need and worst of all EVEN WITHOUT telling so....)
