Oh yeah!

1.  "Ice Station Zebra" is my top pick on this subject.  Made in early 60's, it starts Rock Hudson, Ernest Borgnine and Patrick McGoohan (sp?).  Very good cold war flick that shows (in my opinion) the "political mood" of the era.  The IMDB link is:

2.  "The Bedford Incident" is my second favorite film of the era.  Stars include Richard Widmark, Sidney Poitier.  IMDB link is:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0058962/?fr=c2l0ZT1kZnxteD0yMHxzZz0xfGxtPTIwMHx0dD1vbnxwbj0wfHE9VGhlIEJlZGZvcmQgSW5jaWRlbnR8aHRtbD0xfG5tPW9u;fc=1;ft=1

3.  "Hostile Waters" is a good one. Has Rutger Hauer. IMDB link is: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119320/

I have more if you wish.   :-D
