If you get AmiTCP it is going to be a ride full of pain to configure it.
Really? I've installed AmiTCP numerous of times, couldn't be easier. Just install the network driver, set up an IP address and run the startnet script.
This was the case for my A600 with prism2 wlan card. Maybe I was just lucky, but for me it was certainly a sunshine story.
