I'm joining this thread, as my 1084S died a few months ago too.
In fact, you can have the monitor too, it's just collecting dust as we speak. I was supposed to thrash it a long time ago, but never had the heart to do so. It powers up and everything, but there's no picture.
If you want the monitor, cable or both, let me know.
