Exactly. I know some Linux people who have no trouble using a Powerbook for coding once in a while, as it's UNIX underneath, but regular people buy Macs for the snazzy interface.
Amiga should pay very close attention to how Apple handles OSX hacks.
I´m sure that Apples x86 will be radically different from regular x86, different bios, no legacy stuff etc
The developer release is really just a marketing release.....
BIOS is a given, since a modern OS doesn't use it for anything after the kernel ititializes. Real-mode BIOSes are a real pain to work with.
Legacy stuff depends where Apple gets their chipsets.
