You can't OFFICIALY/leagaly buy OS3.1 anymore..... So sharing the disk is not realy a crime, IMO.
Buying it form amigaKit is the same as buying it of ebay. ( I don't think they are licensed by amiga.inc)
Don't freak out, amigaKit is a super cool store! I'm a customers.
Users on this site realy have no bussines selectivly inforcing copyright laws for amiga.inc, thats for amiga.inc to deal with, if they want or can.
I, personal find it funny! Feel free to have a totaly different opinion!

My point is simple...

It's no piracy to help a brother that owns an amiga (that presumably came with os disks when bought origionaly) with a  disk that he stupidly wrote over!  I will give the guy the benifit of the doubt!  Even then, I would rather help sombody new get the os up and running than shun them, but thats just me, I'm am amiga lover and actualy want more people to use them!  Hell I can donate and transfer my licences to anybody I want, and I own lots of os3.1 licenses!  Thats the same thing amiagkit is doing with his stuff or anybody selling the disks on ebay.  

I have read the guildlines(have you?). I'm not priating anything moto!  I actualy CAN'T pirate them, since I own them all from 1.0 up on mint origional disks!(do you?)  What are you telling me?  I can't have an opinion that is differnet from your narrow minded perspetive, or else? Because I don't agree with you. I don't have to, I can think that you are stark raving mad, so what. You may even be wrong or incorrect, since I doubt you know more about the situation than I.

So whats your point dare I ask?

again glad you go up and running, let me know if have any trouble with your setup as I would be glad to help or transfer one of my os3.1 lics to a cool amiga user!  Even moto if he get stuck of does something silly with his disks! (yes I have many origional disks)

I can make a copy and toss the origional if I want! I still own it untill i give it to sombody else!

BTW who cares, becasue like I pointed out, every single amiga sold came with the OS, so if you own the box (a1200 or 4000).....

I have no idea why you even think there is anything about piracy going on..... or where you can official buy this stuff right now...

anyway, you don't know who owns os3.1, I do, it's amiga.inc (or so they claim), I don't see them selling it righ now, do you?

Not related to laser.  No connection.  Don't think I care for that rude bloke!  Once you get to know me you will realize there are huge diffeneces.  I can see that mabe you think I'm being harsh, but actualy I'm being realistic, somthing this group (and amigaworld) deperatly needs.  :-)

I think the attitute of, you wrote over your disk now go buy another one stinks.

I think there some ppl here that belive that, and other that belive a.inc is the knight in shinning armor that will save the amiga and have another relovution.....

BTW, I don't realy care if you guys think I'm clever, and I'm not looking for and worshipers (please no) but I do have two feet right here on the ground.

Nobdy else has mentioned it, but 3.1 also ships with the os3.9 cd.....which you should buy if don't already own it.
Again, I don't think they are amking new ones, but maybe when hell freezes over a.inc will rerelease the 3.9 cd with OS6.

os 3.1 maybe for sale at amigakit but I would be willing to give one of mine up for free... no I can't give it to everybody here... sorry I only have a few and it's my pick to give them away to whom ever I want.

very cool amigakit, I love your shop.  Those disk as cool for a collector, keep up the great work!  
somebody ask where I am.... I'm in california, I have way to many amigas, but mainly right now I am working on my 4000 tower.  I move around a bit...anyway i'll update my profile sometime.....
anyhow, peace, I'm not looking to troll, well maybe rouse some of the self-a-pointed copy write enforcers out there!  Some of them are really out of touch!

Amiga Forever (the latest)
  Roms and OS included.
OS3.9'
  Includes os3.1 and os3.9

So now hopefuly nobody thinks I want to kill the amiga market!  :-P
