I very much doubt the buddha can do 48bit addressing, so you cant use a harddrive above 160gig (I think thats right) on it.
As its an A3000 your only option is an IDE to SCSI adaptor and hook it up that way.
Or e-mail Elbox to see if their Z3 powerflyer can be updated to 48bit addressing, the same as the A1200 one is.
Otherwise your stuck. :)

your probably thinking of the one in the 3.5 drawer in the 3.9 CD, its different but I dont know if it fixes anything.

If you know the number of cylinders etc do try entering them manually, If you can enter them and HDToolbox says its ok then its ok... I dont think it will though.
